In fact. by the time the final bags were packed and the purple heart confetti was cleaned off the floor, the tour had successfully grown a ‘G forest’ of 500 trees through the Trees for Days program, and raised a massive $10,500 CAD in direct funding for Planeterra.

“The most important part of this tour was to say thank you,” said David Green, Managing Director, Canada for G Adventures, who hand-carried plush keychains all the way from Kym Viet — a Planeterra project in Vietnam — as a personal gift for every attendee who donated over $60.

Green observed: “We know it’s been a high-pressure climb for advisors lately, navigating a world that hasn’t always made this job easy. But, seeing the sheer resilience and heart in the room at every single stop was a powerful reminder that this community is the heartbeat of everything we do.”

And he continued: “Our advisors aren’t just booking trips, they’re true catalysts for change. They help ensure that the wealth from tourism stays exactly where it belongs – in the hands of local people. To every agent who joined us: we see your hustle, you are absolute legends, and G Adventures will always have your back.”

The Travel Your Heart Out theme resonated as a pulse check for an industry built on passion. The session explored how community tourism isn’t just a feel-good add-on, but the backbone of a great travel experience.

Also in attendance, key tourism partners from Peru, Costa Rica, Colombia, and Portugal, joined the national circuit to bring the spirit of their destinations to life for Canadian advisors. By connecting directly, these partners shared the latest stories of impact from their regions, showcasing how the G-experience is evolving on the ground.

As a thank you, G Adventures also gave away 15 trips, including six each to Colombia and Portugal, and three to Costa Rica, plus an additional $5K CAD in prizing.

Erin Rogers, National Sales Manager at G Adventures, said: “The energy in the room at every single stop was electric, and it was all fuelled by the people who make this industry move.”

Rogers continued: “Raising over $10,000 for Planeterra is a massive win, but the real highlight was seeing our partners realize the scale of the impact they create every time they hit ‘confirm.’ Whether it’s connecting a client with a National Geographic Signature trip or growing a forest one travel day at a time, Canadian agents are proving that they don’t just see the world, they help it thrive. This tour was for them.”

Agents interested in learning more about G Adventures’ latest trips and events are encouraged to reach out to their local Global Purpose Specialist (GPS), or sign up for the latest updates via the G Adventures Canadian Agents of Change facebook group.

For those who were unable to attend the roadshow but wish to contribute to the mission, donations to Planeterra can still be made here.

G Adventures’ high-energy, cross-country Travel Your Heart Out Roadshow has just wrapped up and it proved that the Canadian travel industry has as much heart as it does hustle.
