Statutory first-half profit before tax was AUD$87 million.<\/p>\n<p>Canada delivered growth across both corporate and leisure businesses during the half, positioning the operation to surpass last year\u2019s record performance.<\/p>\n<p>Leisure demand shifted away from U.S. destinations toward domestic, European and long-haul markets, while Corporate Traveller and FCM Travel secured new corporate accounts and maintained volumes across SME and multinational enterprise segments.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-195614\" src=\"https:\/\/www.travelpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Chris-Lynes-MD-FCTG_1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.travelpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Chris-Lynes-MD-FCTG_1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.travelpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Chris-Lynes-MD-FCTG_1024x768-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.travelpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Chris-Lynes-MD-FCTG_1024x768-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Chris Lynes, Managing Director of Flight Centre Travel Group Canada, said that: \u201cThe Canadian business is gaining share in corporate travel and benefiting from sustained leisure demand, even as travel patterns evolve.
