It also highlights the significant confidence that our airline partners have for the destination following an unprecedented category 5 hurricane.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And the Minister added: \u201cIt also reinforces that fact that Jamaica is open for business and ready to welcome visitors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Flair Airlines\u2019 service will run up to twice weekly, increasing seat capacity from Canada and supporting Jamaica\u2019s broader tourism strategy focused on market diversification, resilience, and long-term growth.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-204572\" src=\"https:\/\/www.travelpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Flair-Jamaica-Arrival-Plane_1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.travelpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Flair-Jamaica-Arrival-Plane_1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.travelpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Flair-Jamaica-Arrival-Plane_1024x768-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.travelpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Flair-Jamaica-Arrival-Plane_1024x768-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Said the Minister: \u201cThis flight is truly meaningful in the context of getting back on track with our new KPIs for Jamaica\u2019s tourism by 2030.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Donovan White, Director of Tourism, pointed out that: \u201cCanada continues to be one of Jamaica\u2019s most important and resilient source markets. This new nonstop service 3 from Toronto supports our winter growth strategy by improving accessibility and making it even easier for Canadians to choose Jamaica for their holiday travel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The launch reflects the Jamaica Tourist Board\u2019s continued collaboration with airline partners to expand connectivity, stimulate travel, and ensure Jamaica remains top of mind in the global tourism landscape.<\/p>\n<p>Angella Bennett, Regional Director, Canada, said: \u201cWe are truly grateful for this service not just during our peak season but following the passage of hurricane Melissa.
